The host of our conference is Barry Fitzgerald. Barry is a superhero scientist, keynote speaker, author, and enthusiastic communicator. Barry has given hundreds of talks at schools, universities, and events. As a scientific researcher, his scientific interests include computational physics, responsible innovation, science education, and superhero science.
Upon registration we will make a mystery match between you and another guest. We challenge you to meet up with this guest during the day. In this way you can extend your network within the alliance.
Throughout the whole day you can visit our project market, where different projects of the alliance present themselves.

13.46 – Challenging Future Generations by Charisma Hehakaya
Charisma Hehakaya is a PhD Candidate at the Division of Imaging & Oncology, UMC Utrecht. Charisma has taken the initiative to establish the First-Generation Fund together with the Utrecht University Fund. With this fund, she encourages future students, who are the first in their family to study, to get the most out of their talents.
13.55 – Collaboration in education by Arnold Bregt
Arnold Bregt is Dean of Education at Wageningen University & Research. He will address the future of education across four institutions together with (former) students Vita Broeken (TU/e) and Pieter van Briemen (TU/e).
14.05 – Addressing grand challenges through Open & collaborative innovation by Marcel Bogers
Marcel Bogers is a Full Professor of Open & Collaborative Innovation at the Innovation, Technology Entrepreneurship and Marketing (ITEM) group at Eindhoven University of Technology.

Our Board members Frank Baaijens, Arthur Mol, Henk Kummeling and Arno Hoes will share their view on the alliance and discuss next steps.
